In this world, people come and people go. One day you are born with the potential to do anything in life holding on to hope for a vibrant future.
But sometimes life takes unexpected turns as it did with this girl who has a rare type of cancer known as fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma.
Meet Amy, the 19 year old with the rare cancer which can cause tennis-sized tumors in the abdomen.
She's undergone chemotherapy treatments often with her mom by her side every step of the way.
One day while laying in bed her mom, Sarah Danbury of Lincolnshire, England snapped a photo of the two of them.
In the photo a bright light can be seen which has the shape of an angel, complete with a halo which Amy exclaimed “It's My Guardian Angel”.
Unfortunately, 3 weeks after this photo was taken Amy tragically lost her battle with the disease. Her mom, Sarah was with her the whole way watching her as Amy fought for her life with everything she had.
“She was such a brave girl,” Sarah said. “She wasn’t one to sit there crying, she was so strong-minded and a real fighter.”
Looking back at the photo and Amy's fight, Sarah see's the positive that came from such a negative situation. She feels at peace with her daughter passing as she says…
“It gives me comfort seeing that picture because it makes me think there was someone there with Amy looking after her knowing it was coming to her time, you just don’t know.”
