Italian Mother Sentenced To 30 Years For Killing Son — The Reason Why Will Disgust You
As Parents We Are Supposed To Protect And Love Our Children.
Children look to their parents when they are in need because those are the two people that could do no wrong to them. Unconditional love is expected from children as well as guidance and protection.
But not everyone sees it that way, some people have dark secrets or mental breakdowns. It causes the parent to become the child's worst enemy and commit disgusting acts of violence towards that one person that counted on them.
In the case of Veronica Panarello, she has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for strangling to death her eight-year-old son.
As you read this I know what you're thinking, “What did this innocent boy do?”. We'd like to tell a story of an accident or not even have to tell this story at all. But the sad truth is, the boy's only mistake was catching his mother cheating with his grandfather.
You heard it right, this mother engaged in the most disgusting act of violence one could ever commit, violence against a child.
Not only did she strangle him with electrical cables, but she proceeded to hide his body in a gully.
She reported her son missing, stating she last dropped him off at school. She told the police he was abducted and he was not at school when she went to pick him up. The police discovered CCTV from the school that would cast suspicion on the mother…
Veronica was convicted of murdering her son and concealing his body. She tried passing the blame for the murder onto her father-in-law.
During the trial Veronica said it was Andrea Stival, the boys grandfather, who planned the murder after the boy found Veronica cheating with his grandfather.
Stival insists that he had nothing to do with the murder and threatened to sue his daughter-in-law. He is currently being investigated as an accessory to murder.
“That accusation is something out of this world. I went mad for my grandson, my little angel. Now there's a need for peace and justice. My stomach turned upside down,” Said Stival.
Regardless of the level of embarrassment and dishonor this would have brought to their family, there's no reason an innocent eight-year-old had to be murdered over something so senseless.
